Proverbs 11:1 A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.I added this scripture to think about it a little more. And so I looked into it a little more, in the scriptures balance means money, but so does weight. But they both also mean measurements. So I think this scripture means "A false balance (worldly things) is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight (heavenly treasures) is his delight.Isaiah 40:12 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
I love how this talks about the world creation, and how Heavenly Father balanced it out perfectly.Job 6:2 Oh that my grief were throughly weighed, and my calamity laid in the balances together!
