Amazing

Websters Dictionary 1828:
1. Confounding with fear, surprise or wonder.

2. a. Very wonderful; exciting astonishment, or perplexity.
Quotes:
“And it shall come to pass that ye shall all be amazed, and wonder, insomuch that ye shall fall to the earth.
-SAMUEL THE LAMINATE
"I never cease to be amazed by how the Lord can motivate and direct the length and breadth of His kingdom and yet have time to provide inspiration concerning one individual"
-PRESIDENT THOMAS S MONSON
Scriptures:
Acts 2:12, "12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?"
Luke 5:26, "And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day."
Mark 6:51, "And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered."
Story:
"Then a simple yet amazing thing happened. I quote now from President Monson’s own recollection of this experience:
“I could not leave her side. It was as though an unseen hand [was] resting on my shoulder, and I felt within my soul that I was hearing these words: ‘Go over to the next bed where the little lady covered her face when you came in.’ I did so. …
“I approached the bedside of the other patient, gently tapped her shoulder and carefully pulled back the sheet which had covered her face. Lo and behold! She, too, was a member of my ward. I had not known she was a patient in the hospital. Her name was Kathleen McKee. When her eyes met mine, she exclaimed through her tears, ‘Oh, Bishop, when you entered that door, I felt you had come to see me and bless me in response to my prayers. I was rejoicing inside to think that you would know I was here, but when you stopped at the other bed, my heart sank, and I knew that you had not come to see me.’
“I said to [Sister] McKee: ‘It does not matter that I didn’t know you were here. It is important, however, that our Heavenly Father knew and that you had prayed silently for a priesthood blessing. It was He who prompted me to intrude on your privacy.’”

day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky;and for everything

day of life and love and wings:and of the gay

breathing any-lifted from the no

Amazing
by Megan Johnson
"The most amazing being that I know,
Helps me know which way to go,
He loves me lots, I love Him too,
He makes me glad when I am blue,
He did hard things for me, you see,
He makes me happy as can be,
These hints are good, can you guess who?
Everyone should know him, even you,
As celebration of birth comes near,
Its my savior, who I love so dear."
